About the role
Due to their continuous growth and success a very rare and exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Sales professional to take charge of sales for the their Papersacks and Industrial products division
based out of Auckland.
In this dynamic and challenging role, and working closely with the General Manager, you will be charged with:
- Enhancing & developing business from within existing accounts
- Strategically targeting new growth opportunities from new accounts located throughout New Zealand.
Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transitions as smooth as possible you must possess the following key attributes:
- Previous sales experience within the packaging industry would be ideal but is not essential, it is more about your experiences dealing with the above-mentioned industries
- Have worked with an import/trading model, with an understanding of long lead times, forecasting and sales planning
- Previous sales experience calling on Manufacturers, Primary Producers, Industrial product suppliers and Rural Agri Business Suppliers throughout New Zealand.
- The ability to build rapport with all people across all levels and backgrounds
- The ability to identify and develop profitable new business opportunities constantly from within existing customers
- The ability to strategically map the market to identify profitable new business opportunities and convert to successful sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
