Morgan Consulting is delighted to partner exclusively with a high-growth retail health care organisation as they look to appoint an experienced Acquisition Manager to drive strategic expansion and execute transactions that accelerate enterprise value.
 
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially sharp and hands-on deal professional who enjoys operating across the full acquisition life cycle — from origination and market engagement through to negotiation, due diligence and completion. The role will work closely with senior leadership to build a qualified acquisition pipeline, assess strategic fit and financial performance, and lead complex multi-stakeholder transactions in a fast-paced growth environment. You will also play a key role in supporting integration planning and identifying post-transaction value creation opportunities that strengthen long-term performance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Reporting into the Managing Director you will be tasked with the following:
 
  • Own acquisition origination strategy and pipeline development
  • Identify and source acquisition opportunities through networks, brokers and market intelligence
  • Conduct commercial assessments, valuation analysis and financial modelling
  • Prepare investment recommendations and business cases for executive approval
  • Lead negotiations with business owners and external advisors
  • Manage end-to-end due diligence across financial, legal, operational and HR streams
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure timely and commercially sound transaction execution
  • Support integration planning and monitor acquisition performance against investment assumptions
 
About you
 
To be considered for the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
 
  • Proven experience in acquisitions, corporate development, private equity, investments or strategic business development
  • Strong financial literacy including valuation exposure and modelling capability
  • Confident negotiator with executive presence and stakeholder influence
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and competing priorities
  • Commercially driven, proactive and outcome-focused mindset
  • Comfortable operating hands-on within fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Exposure to multi-site, roll-up or private equity-backed businesses will be highly regarded
