Morgan Consulting is partnering with a well-established and growing logistics organisation that services major manufacturing and industrial customers across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Admin & Operations Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role offering genuine exposure across customer service, logistics coordination, inventory and operations, with clear pathways for growth as the business continues to expand. The Opportunity In this role, you will sit at the centre of operations, working closely with customers, transport providers and internal teams. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer orders, delivery updates and invoicing queries
  • Processing customer orders accurately and managing them through to dispatch and delivery
  • Liaising daily with 3PL providers, transport companies and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the sales team with customer, pricing and stock enquiries
  • Monitoring delivery timelines, proactively resolving delays and keeping customers informed
  • Assisting with invoice checks, cost reconciliation and general administration
  • Supporting basic stock and inventory reconciliation
  • Identifying process improvements and contributing to more efficient ways of working
This role offers broad exposure across customer service, logistics, operations and finance, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced environment.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, transport or manufacturing(non-negotiable)
  • Strong customer service and order management experience
  • Experience working with 3PL providers or transport companies
  • High attention to detail, particularly around pricing, orders and invoicing
  • Confidence handling customer issues and providing clear, timely updates
  • Strong systems capability, ERP or WMS experience highly regarded
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to get involved across the business
