Our client is a global leader in Industrial Automation and Process Controls, trusted by industries across Australia and beyond. Their wide range of products includes pneumatic and process valves, actuators, sensors, electrical drives, and complete turnkey control systems all designed to help their customers operate more efficiently and reliably.
 
With strong growth and increasing demand for their products, they are now opening a new branch in Brisbane (Eagle Farm Location) to support their existing and new customers. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Branch Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and branch activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory control, maintaining safety standards, and supporting customer order fulfilment for pneumatic products and components. 
 
About the role
They seek a hands-on Sales & Warehouse Branch Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations while also supporting customer sales and enquiries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a practical environment while also interacting with customers, handling phone enquiries, and helping grow branch sales.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Opening and closing the branch, operating hours 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers and trade clients
  • Answer customer phone enquiries and assist with product information, pricing, and order processing
  • Work closely in assisting and supporting our external sales team.
  • Support sales by recommending suitable pneumatic and industrial products to customers
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and branch operations.
  • Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of pneumatic and process control components and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control.
  • Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of workplace safety and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment and procurement.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and ensure products are stored safely and correctly.
  • Prepare operational reports and monitor branch performance.
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
 
Skills and experience
  • Experience in a warehouse supervisor, branch supervisor, or sales/warehouse role
  • Experience with pneumatic, industrial, mechanical, or automation products highly desirable
  • Strong customer service, sales and communication skills
  • Comfortable answering phones and assisting customers with product enquiries
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
  • Ability to balance warehouse responsibilities with sales support
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
