About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our operation, with the position to be based in the Eastern states (Melbourne preferred, however Sydney or Brisbane will be considered based on candidate).

Skills and Experience

As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record of 8 years plus in external sales and business development, meeting and exceeding goals, preferably within the bearing industry or a related industrial field.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with distribution partners and customers.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Analyse information on products, pricing, volume, and customers to establish strategies and actions plans to improve profitability and grow sales of products sold by NSK Australia.
  • Identify and conduct Market Research into new products/categories and industries for business development and implement strategies to capture the market especially in leading edge industries.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and maximize revenue Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, providing necessary support and guidance to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to actively seek and secure new end user opportunities, to drive growth and expand the company's market share.
  • Deliver compelling formal and informal sales presentations and product demonstrations to distribution partners and end customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and services.

  • Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.
