About the Role

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Western Australia sales team. In this role, you’ll report to the Regional Sales Manager and play a key role in servicing and growing an extensive distribution network.
You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and delivering solutions that contribute to our continued success across the industrial and mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Engage with stakeholders across all levels – from maintenance teams to senior management.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow market share within the region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new product offerings and enter emerging markets.
  • Work strategically to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Represent JSG as part of a high-performing, national team.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience selling engineered products into industrial and mining sectors.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with a clear understanding of key business drivers.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to sales.
  • Strong influencing and consultative selling skills.
  • Trade or engineering background in lubrication, hydraulics, or pneumatics (preferred but not essential).
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Western Australia as required.
