About the role
Due to their continuous growth and success a very rare and exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Manager to take charge of their Agricultural Products sales team based out of their head office located in the inner suburbs of Melbourne whilst managing some key existing accounts.
In this "hands on", dynamic and challenging role, and working closely with the CEO, you will be charged with:
- Enhancing & developing business from within existing accounts
- Strategically targeting new growth opportunities from new accounts located nationally
- Lead Contract negotiations
- Managing, coaching, mentoring and developing their small yet dynamic national sales team.
As the ideal candidate and to make the transitions as smooth as possible you must possess the following key attributes:
- Previous strategic sales experience, ideally within the packaging industry would be ideal but is not essential
- The ability to build rapport with all people across all levels and backgrounds
- The ability to identify and develop profitable new business opportunities constantly from within existing customers
- The ability to strategically map the market to identify profitable new business opportunities
- Experience with Supplier and Customer Contract negotiations
- The ability to coach, mentor and develop sales professionals
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
