About the role
An exciting, and rare opportunity now exists for an experienced sales professional from within the plastics industry to join their sales team.
In this dynamic, challenging and fast paced “hands on” role you will be responsible for identifying and closing new sales opportunities with new clients coupled with growing an existing customer portfolio. You will be responsible for working hand in hand with major suppliers to ensure products, both existing and new are being properly represented.
Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
- Previous account management experience within the plastics industry
- An intimate working knowledge of the plastics industry
- Experience dealing with Suppliers at a senior level
- A “hands on” approach to business
- A willingness to continually grow business both organically and by identifying and securing new business
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills
