Morgan Consulting is partnering with a well-regarded Not-for-Profit aged care organisation based in Blackburn. We are seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to step in for an 8-week full-time temporary assignment, commencing ASAP.
This is a fast-paced, office-based role supporting a busy community aged care team.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for clients and families, managing inbound calls and providing clear, timely information. This includes answering queries such as service times, redirecting calls to Case Managers where required, and ensuring a smooth client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage the office phone in a professional and empathetic manner
- Redirect calls to Case Managers or relevant internal stakeholders
- Respond to client enquiries regarding scheduled services
- Provide general administrative support to the care team
- Maintain accurate records and communication notes
- Support the coordination of services within a busy environment
About You
- Previous experience within aged care, home care packages or community services is essential
- Confident managing a high volume of calls in a fast-paced office
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Calm, organised and solutions-focused
