About the Role
They are seeking a driven and client-focused Commercial Consultant
to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and originate commercial finance enquiries, guiding clients and stakeholders through the full lending sales cycle. You’ll act as the primary point of contact across a wide range of finance products, building strong relationships with clients, referrers, and lenders, while ensuring a smooth and professional experience aligned with their brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and originate commercial finance enquiries, including property, business acquisition, equipment, car, and fitout loans.
- Collate and submit loan applications into internal and external lending systems.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure credit applications are executed smoothly.
- Act as the key contact for clients, referrers, internal staff, and external lenders throughout the finance process.
- Maintain and nurture long-term client relationships, supporting their professional goals and ambitions.
- Build and manage business relationships with referrers, lenders, and third parties.
- Support marketing activities, including attending industry events, contributing to social media, blogs, and podcasts.
- Extensive knowledge of the business lending environment, including compliance, credit, and documentation processes.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proven stakeholder engagement experience, both internally and externally.
- Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Resilient under pressure, with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Previous experience in banking, finance, insurance, medical, or professional services.
- Background in sales support, relationship management, or lending associate roles will be highly regarded.
