My client is a fast growing creative business with huge growth plans for 2025. They are driven by storytelling, innovation and authenticity, and are looking for a Content Director  to lead their social media and content strategy across YouTube and Instagram.

This role will suit someone who lives and breathes content creation and understands how to build an engaged audience online. You will plan, produce and publish high quality content across both the company’s social platforms and the founder’s personal page, with a strong focus on video storytelling, creative campaigns and social engagement. The role will also involve regular travel across Australia to capture content at events, workshops and brand activations.

The Role
You will be responsible for setting the creative direction across all social media activity, managing the content calendar and ensuring brand consistency across channels. You will plan shoots, oversee production and work closely with the marketing team to execute ideas that connect and inspire.
Day to day, you will
• Lead the creation of social media content across YouTube and Instagram
• Develop and manage a consistent content calendar
• Plan and direct shoots, producing engaging short and long form videos
• Create written and visual content for social posts, stories and campaigns
• Travel nationally to capture behind the scenes and event content
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social strategy with brand goals
• Oversee post production, captions and publishing schedules

About You
• 4 to 6 years of experience in social media, content production or creative direction
• A strong portfolio showing both video and broader social content
• Confident leading shoots and managing the creative process from idea to execution
• Strong understanding of storytelling, tone and brand alignment across platforms
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects at once
• Comfortable travelling for events and working in fast paced environments
• Collaborative, approachable and passionate about growing an engaged online community
