Morgan Consulting is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the supply chain and distribution space to recruit a Customer Service & Operations Officer.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across customer service, logistics and operations. The role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth order-to-cash process and delivering a high level of service to customers.

The Role
You will be the primary point of contact for customers across all operational functions including orders, deliveries and invoicing. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and a “first time right” approach to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency.
You will also work closely with internal teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless order fulfilment and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end order processing (order to cash)
  • Respond to and manage customer enquiries across orders, deliveries and invoicing
  • Liaise closely with 3PL providers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational and logistics issues
  • Arrange returns, credit and debit notes
  • Perform cost entry and reconcile 3PL invoices
  • Support inventory management and stock reconciliation
  • Provide support to sales, supply chain and finance teams
  • Identify and suggest process improvements

About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service or order fulfilment
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Process-driven with strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident working with ERP systems and Excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working with logistics or 3PL providers is highly regarded
