About the Organisation A large, high‑volume organisation delivering programs across multiple departments is entering a focused phase of digital transformation. With monday.com as the core operational system, the organisation is redesigning how enrolments, payments, communications and internal operations are managed.
This role exists to lead that transformation end-to-end.
The Role This is a hands-on digital transformation position with a clear mandate:
Design, build, and continuously improve operational systems using monday.com as the central platform.
You will be the technical owner of automation, system integration and workflow optimisation, connecting all operational functions into a cohesive, scalable ecosystem.
This is a team‑of‑one role with high autonomy, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams.
Your Core Priorities
- Establish monday.com as the operational backbone
- Eliminate manual work through automation & integration
- Create scalable workflows across enrolments, payments, communications and internal operations
- Improve visibility, accountability and data flow across teams
- Provide general IT support as needed
- Design, build and maintain boards reflecting real business workflows
- Develop advanced automations to reduce manual handling
- Maintain monday.com as a single source of truth
- Continuously improve structure, permissions and usability
- Integrate monday.com with enrolment systems, payment platforms, communications tools and reporting systems
- Build automations using APIs, webhooks and integration tools
- Replace manual processes with reliable workflow automation
- Ensure clean, accurate data movement across systems
- Review end-to-end processes across departments
- Identify bottlenecks, duplication and inefficiencies
- Propose and implement practical, scalable improvements
- Present clear recommendations to stakeholders
- Identify measurable, high-value uses of AI in operations
- Implement AI-driven automations responsibly
- Monitor emerging tools that enhance system capabilities
- Maintain and improve WordPress-based functionality related to enrolments and payments
- Optimise Gravity Forms and integrations
- Improve user journeys with focus on clarity, conversion and data quality
- Support and improve subscription and instalment workflows
- Ensure clean integration of payment data into systems
- Improve reliability, visibility and reconciliation processes
- Provide onsite IT support including Wi-Fi and device setup
- Troubleshoot macOS, Microsoft 365 and peripheral issues
- Resolve problems autonomously and thoroughly
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with monday.com:
- Board architecture
- Automations
- Integrations
- Experience designing automation workflows across business systems
- Practical experience with APIs, webhooks and integration tools
- Experience with WordPress + Gravity Forms
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting or integrating payment/subscription systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Practical experience applying AI tools to real workflows
- Experience in education, creative industries, or high-volume environments
- Experience with subscription or membership-based models
- UX or process design experience
- Familiarity with operational reporting and dashboards
