Morgan Consulting is delighted to partner with a leading national manufacturing organisation that has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and services. They are currently seeking an experienced Group Inventory & Replenishment Manager
to lead its inventory strategy, planning, and purchasing operations. Based in Melbourne, this senior position plays a pivotal role in ensuring stock optimisation, supply continuity, and data-driven efficiency across a broad network of retail and distribution locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce overstocks or shortages
- Oversee forecasting and replenishment to improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency's
- Manage supplier relationships and purchasing across multiple sites
- Monitor inventory budgets and performance against key metrics
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations to align stock levels
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Support national distribution operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit standards, and best practice inventory controls
About You:
To be considered for the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience working in an FMCG or Manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Extensive experience as an inventory or supply chain leader
- Capability managing complex and multi-site operations
- Strong analytical skills
- Hands-on leadership
- Expert skills in forecasting, ERP management, and supplier engagement
