Our Client
This company is continuing to grow rapidly and is now seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their workshop team. This is a great opportunity to work with a modern and expanding transport company within a supportive, well-structured environment. Just over a year ago they moved into a state of the art facilities that is well lit, protected from the elements, organised efficiently with the capability of having up to ten bays operational at any given time.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working on a wide range of trucks, takes pride in their work, and is looking for long term stability with ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles
- Diagnostics and fault finding across mechanical, electrical, and air systems
- Working on engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components
- Pre-delivery work and general workshop duties
- Supporting breakdowns where required
Requirements
- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
- Experience working on trucks, in particular European brands
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability (or willingness to develop)
- Solid understanding of servicing, brakes, and suspension systems
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
