This is an immediate start, working full-time, with 3 days based in the South Melbourne office and 2 days working from home. You'll work closely with the Head of HR, playing a key role in strengthening HR operations while supporting the implementation of BambooHR, enhancing HR systems, developing policies and procedures, driving compliance, and improving the overall employee experience.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the day-to-day HR operations function across the business
- Assisting with the implementation, optimisation and ongoing administration of BambooHR and other HR systems
- Managing HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and employment changes
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and process documentation
- Supporting employee compliance and maintaining accurate HR records
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers
- Partnering closely with Payroll to ensure accurate employee data and compliance
- Driving HR process improvements, automation and system efficiencies
- Contributing to initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support a growing organisation
- Previous experience in an HR Operations, HR Generalist or HRIS-focused position
- Experience implementing or administering BambooHR or a similar HRIS
- Strong HR operational knowledge across the full employee lifecycle
- Experience developing HR policies, procedures and documentation
- A solid understanding of employment legislation, HR compliance and best practice
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and building efficient HR processes
