About the Role
This is a hands-on Insurance Estimator role, with a strong focus on preparing accurate estimates for repair and reinstatement works across insurance claims. Working closely with internal teams, insurers and trades, you will play a key role in assessing damage, pricing works and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
While estimation will be the core focus, the role will also involve supporting the end-to-end claims process, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring claims are progressed smoothly from assessment through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed estimates for insurance repair and reinstatement works
- Assess scope of works and ensure accuracy of costings
- Liaise with insurers, clients, trades and internal teams
- Support the management of insurance claims from initiation through to completion
- Coordinate and track progress of works to ensure timelines are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and system updates
- Assist in ensuring projects are delivered in line with budgets and expectations
- Previous experience in estimating within construction, insurance repairs or property is essential
- Exposure to insurance claims processes is highly regarded
- Experience using Simpro (or similar job management systems) is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate costings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
