Our client has a national presence and has grown significantly over the last ten years, going from around 40 staff to more than 130 employees across multiple branches. The Role
This hands-on position will see you servicing, repairing, and replacing air conditioning units across a wide range of light and heavy vehicles. You’ll work within a tight-knit team and play a key role in maintaining high technical standards across all jobs. Delivering professional, efficient, and accurate service will be a core focus every day. The successful candidate will ideally hold a current Arctick licence and have proven experience with automotive air conditioning systems, others who do not have either of these requirements will also be considered.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your core focus will include:
- Servicing, repairing, and replacing automotive and caravan air conditioning units
- Learning from Senior technicians on a daily basis
- Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently at all times
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness
- Supporting a collaborative team culture and assisting colleagues as needed
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must have:
- This role is open to those currently enrolled in an Apprenticeship, qualified Technicians in their first year or two are ideal applicants
- Current Arctick licence is ideal but not a necessity
- Demonstrated experience servicing automotive air conditioning units in the field is a massive bonus
- Light or heavy vehicle mechanical experience will also help your application
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment
- Current QLD Driver’s Licence
