About the Role
We are seeking an experienced National OEM Business Development Manager
to drive strategic growth through the development and management of OEM partnerships across Australia. In this pivotal role, you will focus on integrating both automatic and manual lubrication systems
into OEM equipment across a range of industrial sectors.
This is a high-impact, national position suited to a technically-minded professional with strong relationship-building and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage OEMs in key sectors to incorporate lubrication systems into equipment design.
- Develop and execute a national strategy to expand OEM partnerships and increase product adoption.
- Consult on the design and integration of lubrication systems to meet OEM specifications.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product development teams to create tailored solutions.
- Drive OEM sales by promoting system performance and maintenance benefits.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term agreements with OEMs.
- Build trust-based relationships with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison for all OEM partners, ensuring high levels of service and support.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor technologies to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain detailed records using CRM systems and deliver regular performance reports to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.
- Previous experience in business development or technical sales within lubrication, fluid handling, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of both automatic and manual lubrication systems.
- Proven ability to manage national OEM relationships and deliver commercial growth.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical solutions.
- High-level commercial acumen with experience in contract and pricing negotiations.
- Proficient in CRM tools and pipeline management.
- Willingness to travel nationally (up to 50%)
