About the Role
They are seeking a highly motivated and strategic sales leader to join our team as National Sales Manager – Residential & Irrigation. Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role is responsible for driving nationwide sales performance, expanding market presence across Australia and New Zealand, and leading a high-performing team. You will play a key role in shaping and executing sales strategies, developing business opportunities, and representing the company at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire regional sales teams to exceed company objectives.
- Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Strengthen and grow key customer and distributor relationships.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and markets.
- Drive marketing and product development collaboration to support growth.
- Lead the commercialization of new product lines.
- Deliver timely, data-driven sales reports and insights.
- Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums.
- Provide technical workshops and promote new product development.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction across channels.
- Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales.
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, ideally in the Water Irrigation/Pumps industry.
- Demonstrated success in sales strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in coaching and performance management.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Financially astute with experience in P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the region.
- Melbourne-based role with in-office presence required.
