Morgan Consulting is partnering with a well-established national organisation within the healthcare and assistive technology sector. This organisation operates across multiple sites in Australia and plays an important role in supporting individuals living with disability, mobility impairments and ageing Australians through essential products and services.
An opportunity has become available for a Payroll & Return to Work Coordinator to join their People & Culture team. This role would suit someone who enjoys a mix of payroll operations, compliance and employee support while working closely with internal stakeholders.
About the Role
This position is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll while coordinating employee return-to-work programs in line with legislative and organisational requirements. You will work closely with operational managers and the People & Culture team to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance and employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Maintain employee records, entitlements and leave accruals
- Ensure payroll compliance with awards, legislation and company policies
- Reconcile payroll reports and provide payroll analysis when required
- Respond to payroll and leave enquiries from employees
- Return to Work Coordination
- Coordinate return-to-work plans with injured employees, managers and insurers
- Maintain RTW documentation and ensure compliance with WorkCover legislation
- Liaise with insurers, rehabilitation providers and external stakeholders
- Assist with WorkCover reporting and administration
- People & Culture Support
- Provide general HR administration support to the P&C team
- Assist with onboarding and recruitment processes
- Maintain HR systems and employee records
- Support learning and development coordination
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll, HR administration or RTW coordination
- Working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and return-to-work processes
- Experience using payroll or HRIS systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
