We’re currently seeking a reliable and confident Personal Assistant / Office Administrator to join a small, supportive engineering and consulting team based in Kew East. This is an 8-week temporary full-time assignment, offering three weeks of one-on-one training to help set you up for success.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment. You’ll be supporting the Director and Managing Director with a mix of admin, coordination, and personal assistant duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and managing the general office inbox
- Monitoring and sorting emails for the Director and Managing Director (some documents may need to be printed)
- Coordinating and booking site visits and appointments
- Preparing and formatting documents for client use – printing, scanning, and typing
- Assisting with engineering drafts and drawings (a basic understanding is helpful, not essential)
- Providing PA support to the Director – including scheduling, report assistance, and compiling photos
- Creating and sending invoices in Xero (basic experience required; pricing provided)
- Assisting with documentation and reporting for school-based projects
- Taking lunch orders and collecting meals for the team
- 3–6 years of experience in an administration or office support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator and adaptable team player
- Basic experience with Xero for invoicing
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Previous experience in engineering or construction is a bonus, but not essential
