About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will manage a large supply chain and operational portfolio, leading complex projects from sourcing strategy through to negotiation, contracting and implementation. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, IT, Finance and other stakeholders to understand requirements, assess supplier markets and deliver strong commercial and operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex supply chain, logistics and operational categories
- Leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and tender processes
- Developing and executing sourcing and category strategies
- Managing market engagement, evaluation and supplier selection
- Leading commercial negotiations and contract development
- Managing supplier and vendor performance
- Identifying cost-saving, cost avoidance and broader value opportunities
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
- Managing procurement across a broad range of supply chain, logistics and operational categories
- Supporting projects with operational and technology-related requirements
- Using spend and supplier data to identify procurement opportunities
- Ensuring appropriate governance, compliance and commercial risk management
The successful candidate will bring strong strategic procurement experience, ideally with exposure to supply chain, logistics, freight, transport, warehousing, distribution or broader operational categories. You will be comfortable managing complex, high-value procurement projects and partnering with both operational and corporate stakeholders.
