About the Role
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, this role is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with employer partners, and mentoring a caseload of apprentices and trainees. You will play a critical role in ensuring apprentices and trainees receive the support they need while driving business growth through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and workplace support
  • Conduct workplace orientations, ensuring OHS compliance
  • Handle general administration, reporting, and data entry to meet compliance standards
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with employer partners and stakeholders
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities to grow the apprenticeship and traineeship programs
  • Negotiate and secure new apprenticeship and traineeship placements
  • Attend career events, school visits, and stakeholder meetings to represent the organisation
  • Contribute content for media channels, including social media and websites
  • Work closely with internal teams to enhance program visibility and community engagement
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales
  • Background in mentoring, coaching, or managing young professionals in apprenticeships or traineeships
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and drive results
  • Ability to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Working with Children Check & National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s license
