About the Role
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, this role is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with employer partners, and mentoring a caseload of apprentices and trainees. You will play a critical role in ensuring apprentices and trainees receive the support they need while driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and workplace support
- Conduct workplace orientations, ensuring OHS compliance
- Handle general administration, reporting, and data entry to meet compliance standards
- Develop and strengthen relationships with employer partners and stakeholders
- Proactively identify new business opportunities to grow the apprenticeship and traineeship programs
- Negotiate and secure new apprenticeship and traineeship placements
- Attend career events, school visits, and stakeholder meetings to represent the organisation
- Contribute content for media channels, including social media and websites
- Work closely with internal teams to enhance program visibility and community engagement
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales
- Background in mentoring, coaching, or managing young professionals in apprenticeships or traineeships
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and drive results
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Working with Children Check & National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver’s license
