Morgan Consulting is partnering with a leading Not-for-Profit organisation located in Cremorne to find a skilled Recruitment Officer. This 3-6 month contract position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role, depending on performance and organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, Apprentice and Trainee Managers, and Industry Consultants to track recruitment needs, both scheduled and unscheduled, for Apprentices/Trainees.
  • Source candidates using a multi-channel approach, including networking, industry partnerships, career fairs, schools, and online job advertising.
  • Maintain and actively search internal talent databases to identify potential candidates before launching external recruitment efforts.
  • Respond to applicant queries, receive and process applications, and shortlist suitable candidates for testing.
  • Arrange, conduct, and score applicant testing while ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Select candidates for interviews based on qualifications, background information, and testing results, assisting the Operations Manager and team with final selection.
  • Communicate interview outcomes to all applicants, ensuring professional and timely notifications to both successful and unsuccessful candidates.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases to ensure accurate records and proactive candidate engagement, building a strong pipeline for future placements.
About You:
  • Previous experience in recruitment, ideally in the apprenticeship/trainee sector or within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to source and attract talent through diverse channels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely responses to candidates.
  • Passionate about working in a not-for-profit organisation and supporting the development of apprentices/trainees.
