Morgan Consulting are partnering with a large, purpose led organisation seeking a Reporting Analyst to join their Data and Analytics function. About the Role
The Reporting Analyst is a hands on specialist responsible for designing and delivering robust reporting, intuitive dashboards, and high-quality insights across a complex service environment. Working across both project initiatives and BAU, this role translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that support better outcomes for customers and communities. You will partner closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, and technology to build trusted reporting frameworks and deliver insights that identify trends, uncover opportunities, and drive informed decision making.
What You Will Do
Reporting & Analytics Enablement
Enable data driven decision making by delivering high quality reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions aligned to business priorities.
Develop accurate and timely reporting to support operational, financial, and workforce performance.
Ensure all outputs are clear, actionable, and tailored for stakeholder consumption.
SQL, ETL & Data Management
Design and maintain robust SQL based reporting solutions across complex data environments.
Build and optimise ETL processes to support reliable, scalable data pipelines.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting outputs.
Dashboarding & Visualisation
Develop intuitive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau.
Design data models and reporting layers that support usability, performance, and insight generation.
Continuously improve visualisation standards to enhance clarity and business impact.
Insights & Analysis
Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across operational and service performance.
Translate complex datasets into clear, practical insights for senior stakeholders.
Support teams to make informed decisions that improve outcomes across the organisation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver value-driven solutions.
Engage with operational, finance, and technology teams to align reporting to business needs.
Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Maintain strong data governance practices across reporting and analytics outputs.
Continuously improve reporting frameworks, processes, and visualisations.
Support the uplift of data capability across the organisation.
What You Will Bring
Strong experience in Reporting Analyst roles within complex service or regulated environments.
Advanced SQL capability with hands-on experience designing and optimising ETL processes.
Strong experience with Tableau or similar visualisation tools, including dashboard development and data modelling.
Proven track record building reporting frameworks from scratch, including requirements gathering and delivery.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Experience supporting operational, financial, and compliance reporting.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology teams.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
