About the Role
The Reporting & Insights Lead will act as the key interface between the Data & Analytics function and the broader business. You will be responsible for defining, planning, and delivering analytics and reporting solutions while leading cross functional squads to unlock meaningful value from data. This role plays a critical part in influencing business strategy, enabling operational efficiency, and embedding data driven thinking across the organisation.
What You Will Do Analytics Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and uplift the organisation’s analytics capability, enabling teams to derive value from data
- Develop and execute analytics roadmaps aligned to strategic and operational priorities
- Partner with senior leadership to support the delivery of the broader data strategy
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to shape demand for analytics services
- Build strong relationships to understand business challenges and identify data-driven solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor, promoting insight led decision making across all levels
- Scope, plan, and oversee the delivery of reporting and analytics initiatives
- Lead analytics squads, ensuring alignment across priorities and successful outcomes
- Support the transition from legacy systems to modern data platforms and practices
- Champion a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and insight-led thinking
- Promote the use of analytics to solve key business problems and improve outcomes
- Ensure visibility and communication of data initiatives and outputs across the organisation
- Support the adoption of strong data management practices including data quality, standards, and governance
- Ensure analytics solutions align with organisational policies and compliance requirements
- True Insights experience - going beyond visualisation and reporitng - turning data into actionable insights that drive meaningful business outcomes.
- Extensive experience in data analytics, including modelling, reporting, visualisation, and transformation
- Proven leadership experience across analytics teams, squads, or projects (ideally in Agile environments)
- Demonstrated ability to define and deliver analytics strategies and roadmaps
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills at a senior level
- Experience implementing data management best practices (data quality, governance, standards)
- Hands on exposure to modern cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, dbt or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align analytics to business outcomes
