About the Role
They are seeking a driven and client-focused Home Loan Consultant
to join their growing team. This role is responsible for managing and originating residential finance enquiries, while delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships with clients, referrers, and lenders. You will play a key role in guiding clients through the entire lending process, collaborating across teams, and contributing to new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Originations and Deal Management
- Manage and originate residential finance enquiries across their complete product suite.
- Collate and enter all required loan application information into CRM (Dynamics 365), lending systems, and external funder systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth credit application processes in line with their brand promise.
- Partner with commercial lending consultants to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, referrers, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the finance process.
- Act as a trusted brand representative, putting clients’ best interests first.
- Build strong client relationships, gaining an in-depth understanding of their ambitions and challenges.
- Maintain and develop partnerships with referrers, lenders, and other third parties.
- Work with the Head of Home Loans to develop and execute sales and marketing plans.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and across digital channels (blogs, webinars, podcasts).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content and manage referral opportunities via social media.
- 2–3+ years’ sales experience in mortgages, banking, finance, medical, insurance, or related industries.
- Prior exposure to business lending, compliance, credit, and documentation processes.
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or willingness to work towards it.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster positive relationships.
- High numerical aptitude and creative problem-solving ability.
