About the Role Reporting into the Risk and Compliance function, you will play a key role in supporting compliance across manufacturing operations. You will help maintain registers, documentation, reporting, and audit readiness while working closely with production, maintenance, QA, and leadership teams. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with manufacturing regulations including WHS, GMP, and environmental standards
- Maintain and update compliance registers, permits, licences, certifications, and documentation
- Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and customer compliance assessments
- Support the review and implementation of safety, wellbeing, quality, and operational procedures
- Assist in investigating compliance incidents, contributing to root cause analysis and tracking corrective actions
- Prepare weekly and monthly safety and wellbeing reports
- Monitor compliance metrics, audit outcomes, and key risk indicators
- Support delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on risk reduction and operational excellence
- Stay up to date with changes to legislation and standards impacting manufacturing operations
About You
- Experience in safety, wellbeing, or compliance within FMCG, manufacturing, or another high-risk industry
- Working knowledge of OHS, CoR, and related safety legislation
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them practically in a business setting
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical capability
- Experience with contractor management systems is advantageous
- Formal qualifications in Safety, Compliance, or a related field are highly regarded
