The Role
We are partnered with a global business that is regarded as an expert in their field of technology. As the Sales Representative, you will join a team that is dedicated toward the driving the success of the business. You will be covering multiple markets selling the full service product portfolio to new and existing clientele across a wide range of industries including mining, marine, oil and gas. You must have an inherent sense of customer centricity, professionalism, friendliness, a sense of urgency along with the ability to build trustworthy and sustainable business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage an existing portfolio of key clientele ensuring their service needs and inquiries are met efficiently.
- Generate new leads and develop new market opportunities by having an in depth understanding of our clients product range and how it might suit the needs of clientele across multiple industries
- Utilise all tools available to you to ensure you drive volume and profit whilst identifying and developing sales strategies that suit different needs
- Act as a brand ambassador at relevant trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and assorted client meetings
- Contributes to risk assessments related to price and quality, ensure technical reliability, provide cost effective solutions that meet health, safety and integrity standards that comply with company directives
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- 5+ years of experience selling service agreements ideally in the power plant, marine or relevant sectors
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or trade qualified background followed by technical sales experience
- Proficiency across the Microsoft suite of products along with efficient administrative skills
- The ability to prepare high quality Power Point presentations and the capability of presenting them with confidence to a live audience
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- You must have a valid drivers license and your own transport vehicle
- You must be willing to travel regionally, interstate and overseas as required by the company and therefore you must have a valid passport
