This newly created role will be instrumental in deepening customer engagement, optimising commercial systems, and enabling sustainable expansion through data-driven insights and best-practice commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the customer network and build new business opportunities.
- Research new markets and prepare business cases for expansion.
- Develop proposals and tenders that clearly communicate value to customers.
- Oversee revenue capture, CRM, and ERP improvements to support commercial goals.
- Support commercial leaders and regional managers with bids and tenders.
- Manage key customer accounts and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Build team capability and succession across the commercial network.
- Experienced commercial or business development leader, ideally from logistics, transport, or industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to improve systems, processes, and team capability.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
- Salary up to $200,000 + super.
