About the Role
They are currently seeking a qualified and hands-on Pump Technician/Fitter
to join their Service Division team in Victoria. Based at their Keysborough branch, this full-time, permanent
position plays a vital role in servicing and repairing a range of pumps, rainwater filtration systems, and rotating equipment across various industry sectors. Reporting to the VIC Service Manager, this role involves both workshop-based
and on-site
service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct repair and assessment of pumps and rotating equipment
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting
- Carry out component restoration and maintenance
- Prepare detailed service reports and documentation
- Provide hands-on, infield support and solutions in commercial and construction environments
They are looking for a technically capable, self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer support.
You will bring:
- Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter
- Practical pump industry experience (advantageous)
- Familiarity with pressure systems, rainwater filtration, submersible and sewage pumps, and fire pump systems (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with electric motors and diesel engines (beneficial)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and scheduling abilities
- Physically fit with a safety-first mindset
- A current Australian manual driver’s licence
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Adherence to Quality and WHSE procedures
- Construction Induction White Card
- Working With Children Check
- Disconnect / Reconnect Licence
- Confined Space Training
