About the role

As a Storeperson / Assembler you will play a crucial role in our organization by processing sales orders, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, receiving and processing goods, and ensuring that the warehouse is well-structured, tidy, and clean. You will also support and maintain the inventory process, general database integrity, and general warehouse functions. You will also be responsible for basic gearbox builds.

Please note this role is 3 days per week Monday – Wednesday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with standard breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders and requests for goods - pick, pack and dispatch (including invoicing)
  • Process goods receiving (CRA)
  • Process unique and/or irregular orders (including kitting)
  • Keep the warehouse well structured, tidy, and clean
  • Observe and adhere to policy and procedure
  • Support and maintain Inventory process (including stock-take)
  • Support and maintain general database integrity
  • Support and maintain general warehouse functions (including fill Pick Points, fill consumable utilities, perform Housekeeping duties)
  • Operate and maintain Warehouse plant and equipment within prescribed standards of operation and safety
  • Assisting with the assembly of basic gear boxes.
Skills and Experience:
  • Three years’ related experience
  • Forklift Licence ideally
  • Good computer literacy (ideally Sage ACCPAC, Microsoft packages)
  • Problem-solving abilities with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Effective listening, organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to digest and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Absolute trustworthiness, honesty, and integrity
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with other departments (e.g. customer service, sales reps)
