About the Role

They are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join their Stainless Steel northern Queensland operations. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, this role is responsible for managing and growing their sales territory across northern Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to establish and expand business relationships in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities.
  • Travel regularly to remote mine sites throughout northern Queensland to support client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Plan and manage client appointments, report sales activities, and prepare quotations.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience selling to the Mining and Mineral Processing Industry. Experience with wear solutions, is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability in business development.
  • Sales experience or a mechanical aptitude with an interest in a sales career.
  • Ability to engage and interact effectively at all levels.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with great attention to detail.
  • High level of initiative and determination to achieve goals and sales targets.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
